Informed Patient Consent & Consultation Terms — Full Text

1. Nature of Classical Homeopathic Consultation
The patient acknowledges that homeopathic assessment involves a comprehensive inquiry into personal medical history, family tendencies, lifestyle stresses, and individual symptom modalities.
Remedies prescribed are prepared according to recognized homoeopathic pharmacopoeias in ultra-diluted potencies designed to stimulate natural self-regulation.
The consultation process follows the classical Hahnemannian approach of totality assessment — meaning the physician considers the complete picture of the patient's physical, mental, emotional, and constitutional symptoms before selecting a remedy.
Treatment is individualized. Two patients with the same conventional disease diagnosis may receive different homeopathic remedies based on their unique symptom totality and constitutional type.
2. Patient Responsibility & Accurate Reporting
Effective constitutional care relies on honest, transparent communication. Patients agree to provide accurate information regarding their symptoms, past surgeries, active medications, and pregnancy status.
Patients agree to attend scheduled review appointments to allow the physician to evaluate symptom progression and adjust potencies responsibly.
Patients understand that concealing relevant medical information, skipping follow-up appointments, or failing to follow dosage instructions may compromise the effectiveness of constitutional treatment.
Patients agree to inform the clinic of any new medications started by other doctors between homeopathic follow-up visits.
3. Understanding Treatment Timeline & Expectations
The patient understands that classical homeopathic treatment for chronic conditions typically requires sustained follow-up over several months. Conditions present for many years cannot be reversed in a few days.
Initial improvements may be subtle — changes in energy, sleep quality, appetite, or mood may precede visible changes in the primary complaint. The patient agrees to communicate all such observations at follow-up visits.
A temporary, mild intensification of symptoms (homeopathic aggravation) may occasionally occur and is generally considered a positive clinical sign. The patient agrees to report any such aggravation to the clinic desk rather than discontinuing treatment abruptly.
4. Complementary Nature of Homeopathic Care
The patient acknowledges that homeopathic care at this facility is offered as a complementary healthcare service alongside — not as a substitute for — modern diagnostic medicine, emergency hospital care, and essential allopathic medications.
The patient agrees never to discontinue essential prescribed allopathic medications (for conditions like diabetes, hypertension, epilepsy, thyroid disorders, etc.) based solely on homeopathic treatment without explicit guidance from their primary prescribing physician.
The patient understands that if Dr. Bharti identifies a condition requiring urgent hospital evaluation, surgical intervention, or specialist referral, the physician will transparently recommend appropriate medical escalation.
5. Financial Terms & Fee Transparency
Consultation fees are communicated transparently during the initial booking process. There are no hidden charges, surprise add-ons, or commercial pressure to purchase unnecessary products.
The patient agrees to the consultation fee as communicated by the clinic coordinator before the appointment. Payment is expected at the time of the visit via cash or UPI.
Remedies dispensed at the clinic are included in the consultation fee or charged separately as communicated. The patient is under no obligation to purchase remedies from the clinic if they prefer to source them from a licensed pharmacy with a written prescription.
6. Voluntary Media & Educational Sharing
Any video testimonial or case documentation shared publicly on this website is published only with explicit, documented, voluntary written consent from the patient or legal guardian.
Patients are never pressured, incentivized, or obligated to provide testimonials, video recordings, or public endorsements as a condition of receiving clinical care.
Consent for media sharing is entirely separate from consent for treatment. Declining to share a testimonial has no impact whatsoever on the quality of clinical care received.
Patients who have previously consented to media sharing retain the right to withdraw that consent at any time by contacting the clinic desk in writing.
7. Right to Second Opinion & Treatment Refusal
The patient retains the right to seek a second opinion from any other healthcare practitioner at any time during the course of homeopathic treatment.
The patient retains the right to refuse any recommended treatment, specific remedy, or diagnostic suggestion without penalty or judgment.
The patient retains the right to discontinue homeopathic treatment at any time, for any reason. We request (but do not require) that patients inform the clinic of their decision so that appropriate case closure documentation can be completed.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This consent framework is governed by the laws of India and the ethical guidelines of the Homoeopathic Medical Association of India (HMAI).
Any disputes or grievances arising from the clinical relationship shall be addressed through direct dialogue with the clinic administration in the first instance. If unresolved, standard consumer protection and medical ethics frameworks applicable in the state of Bihar shall apply.
For questions about these consent terms, contact the clinic desk at +91 94314 62446 during operating hours.

Common Questions About the Consultation Process
Clear, evidence-guided answers to common questions regarding homeopathic consultations, safety, and clinic procedures.
At Homeopath Research Center, initial consultations last 30 to 45 minutes in an unhurried setting. Dr. Bharti reviews your complete medical timeline, previous lab scans, lifestyle habits, emotional stressors, and constitutional traits before formulating an individualized homeopathic treatment strategy.
Please bring your recent blood test reports (CBC, ESR, Thyroid, LFT/KFT, Uric Acid), imaging films (X-rays, MRI, Ultrasound), previous specialist prescriptions, and all current daily medications. You can use our /report-preparation checklist to print a structured summary.
We strongly recommend scheduling an appointment in advance to ensure dedicated, unhurried time with the doctor. Walk-ins are accommodated based on daily clinic capacity, but scheduled patients receive priority.
Absolutely. We encourage a trusted family member or caregiver to accompany you, especially for pediatric, geriatric, or complex chronic cases. Having someone you trust present often helps recall important details about your medical history and ensures the treatment plan is clearly understood by your support system.
In classical homeopathy, the patient's emotional and mental state is a critical component of constitutional assessment. Stress, anxiety, grief, anger, and fear can significantly influence physical symptom patterns. Understanding your emotional landscape helps Dr. Bharti select a remedy that matches your TOTAL symptom picture — not just the physical complaint.
No problem — bring whatever you have available. Dr. Bharti will still conduct a thorough consultation based on your verbal history and available documents. If critical diagnostic gaps are identified, we may recommend specific tests to be done after the initial visit, and these reports can be reviewed at your follow-up appointment.
Follow-up frequency depends on your condition's chronicity. Typically, the first review is at 3-4 weeks, followed by reviews every 4-6 weeks. As your condition stabilizes, intervals are gradually extended to every 2-3 months, and eventually to seasonal check-ups. For chronic conditions present for many years, expect at least 6-12 months of structured follow-up.
Our clinic coordinator will transparently explain the consultation fee structure during your initial inquiry call. Fees are straightforward with no hidden charges, add-ons, or pressure to purchase supplementary products. Payment can be made via cash or UPI at the time of your visit.
Audio recording for personal reference is permitted with Dr. Bharti's consent. We do not permit video recording during the consultation. We also provide written prescription cards with detailed dosage instructions, so you will have a physical record of your treatment plan to take home.
We recommend wearing comfortable, loose clothing that allows easy access to affected areas. For knee, hip, or spinal assessments, avoid tight jeans or restrictive garments that may interfere with mobility evaluation. A comfortable salwar-kameez, loose pants, or stretchy fabric is ideal.
Yes. Our clinic has a comfortable waiting area with seating, drinking water, and health education reading materials. Family members are welcome to wait while the patient is in consultation, or they may join the consultation session itself.
Please contact our clinic desk at least 12 hours before your scheduled appointment to reschedule. We accommodate rescheduling without any penalty. For last-minute emergencies, please call the clinic directly and our coordinator will find the next available slot.
